Board of Directors

Dear Board of Directors:

The Facility Management Team of Pheonix Park & Recreation Department wants to propose the upcoming plans for a new music venue called Bedrock.   This public music venue will be located in Phoenix, Arizona.  The facility will be surrounded by natural settings  and will approximately hold 1,000 people.  Pheonix, Arizona is a great place to build Bedrock for multiple reasons.

Bedrock will be able to bring the community together through entertainment and leisure activities. It will be able to serve all ages from youth to elderly.  The events that we are holding are going to be very diverse.  The types of programs we will provide include (but are not limited to) family fun days, talent shows, open mic nights, karaoke, concerts, big headliners, and local bands. This will attract multiple people from all over the surrounding area.

The construction of the building will start at the beginning of January 2012 and be completed by the end of May 2012.  Support from everyone on the Board of Directors will be greatly appreciated in order to accomplish the plans of Bedrock. We are going to use multiple forms of media to help market Bedrock.  We will be using radio stations, newspapers, flyers around the community, and websites. Radion stations that we will be using are KFRM 95.1 FM and KJZZ 91.5 FM. We will also be putting ads in multiple newspapers.  Various websites such as the Phoenix Park and Recreation Departments, Facebook, and Twitter will be used. These will all be able to reach every demographic in our target market.

On a weekly basis we will include the following components: executive summary, research, programming plans, blue prints/CAD rendering, ADA plan, construction budget, yearly operating budget, risk management plan, human resource plan, and marketing products. Please keeping checking our website for the above components to be posted.  If you have any questions you are more than welcome to contact us at anytime.  We hope that you are as excited as we are about the building of Bedrock.

Sincerely,

Facility Management Team
