Auditions
Auditions will be held four weeks before the main event for ages 10 years old and up. An ad will be placed in the local newspaper prior to auditions. Also, flyers will be put on bulletin boards in schools, libraries, and grocery stores to attract possible candidates for the talent show. Candidates will need to bring the following to their audition:
1. A resume of previous experience must be provided.
2. A head shot photo (in order for judges to recognize who is who).
During the audition process, candidates will be asked to briefly describe on a sign up sheet what they plan on doing for their act. After the audition process is complete, the cast will be scheduled a rehearsal time in order for the director to approve the act to be family friendly, and also to approximate time per act. (Please Note: All candidates will be asked to participate in the talent show, unless their act is considered to be inappropriate to a family audience.)
