Programs for Special Needs, Certifications, & Marketing Tactics

All of our programs will include people with special needs with their families and friends. We did not want to create a special day for them simply because we feel like that will not include everyone. They are welcome to attend any events held by Bedrock and we are more than willing to accommodate any of their needs . A list of the equipment we will need to purchase will be any equipment we need to host a show, but to make the facility ADA accessible we will add ramps by any entrances and exits, bathroom stalls which will be accessible, ramps to exit and enter the stage, and extra seating will be available for those who need it.  You can find the details on the ADA checklist description of this website.
There will be a designated sector of our employees who will need to be certified with the ADA and they will have to be in a certification class that we will ask them to complete prior to their actual interactions with the special needs people. We will also have people come in to help train our staff on how to work with people with special needs.
We will market our programs to people with special needs by marketing to the local facilities that accommodate to their needs. We would market to them as if they did not have special needs. We could have employees speak to them individually to help encourage them to join in our activities. Also, we will go to local high schools and middle schools to market our programs to the special education classes.
